As We Get To Know Each Other… You’ll Quickly Realize That I’m The Luckiest Person On Earth - So Let’s Talk About Where I Was In February 2011
I was 26 and living in Istanbul/Turkey.

I was working as an IT admin.

I had no cybersecurity experience or qualifications.

I had no international working experience.

I had no work permits, or a Green Card, or anything like that.

... and I felt stuck in my underpaying role, in a place I don’t want to live anymore because I didn’t have the skills, qualifications, language abilities, or network to grow my career.

Especially in the international arena.

Especially in a rewarding position in cybersecurity.

This meant I couldn’t make the switch to grow my career to 6-figures in cybersecurity.

There’s a stupid myth out there… that you need to know EVERYTHING in a domain to make a good living out of it… Like you need to become an EXPERT in cybersecurity to get hired.

… Well sometimes it is just not true.

And if you want to make a lot of money in a field like cybersecurity, it is almost never the answer...

I know, because I tried.

I gave it everything I had.

I gave it my BEST shot.

And it didn’t work.

Because I played by the rules and I did everything right...

I Ended Up With Working Harder Than Ever And I Hated It…
I hated it because no one cared about my work ethic.

I had goals, dreams, and aspirations...I wanted more out of life...

...and my career wasn't going to work.

So I did what everyone else out there does in this situation.

I started looking for a way out.

I looked everywhere, and a few months later, I found it.

I stumbled upon a forum where a group of guys and gals were talking about how they were “Career Hackers.”

They focused only on what they wanted, learned what they liked, and made even more money by working less. The difference is they were only focusing on a number of companies, roles and only relevant skills, and they only approached those roles IF there’s a backdoor available for them.

This was a cool concept to me, and as I researched more and more I found that most of them were just like me.

They also wanted to work less and make more money, and instead of working as corporate slaves - hoping their managers or recruiters would see the value they created - they wanted to live the remote lifestyle they always dreamt of enjoying.

The only difference was they took control of their career by hacking the recruitment system. They focused on what they DO have, instead of what’s missing in their careers.

They got the positions even when they had fewer skills than their competitors out there.
"Career Transfer" Is One Of The Most Legitimate And Easy-To-Use Solutions If You Want To Make 6-Figures in Cybersecurity
Just think about it: 
 Do you think everybody knows 100% of the skills when they start any role in this field? Of course not; professionals learn along the way, but they don’t wait until they are perfect.

 Is it possible that companies are willing to invest in you, if you show your own passion and interest first? That’s why hiring managers want to work with professionals who truly care about their organization, instead of someone trying to get any job out there just to make money.
And because of this, transferring skills from ANY background and applying them for a VERY specific role was the perfect thing for me...

All I knew how to do was approach the RIGHT company and show my TRANSFERRABLE skills that make sense to them.

Here's what my previous career situation looked like

And even though I had some practical experience in virtual cybersecurity labs…
